Note: this sample extract dates from 1998: some of the plans may have changed since then.

This sample from our database is to give an idea of the sort of information available concerning airports world-wide with an actual or planned rail link - over 300 of them. The basic listing gives brief details, including (separately) the funding method and the fare charged - but more information is available to members on request.

	Atlantic City (Atlantic City Airport) Possible light rail line.
	Frankfurt (Frankfurt Airport) High speed line has new station (AIRail station) adjacent to the old one. Internal people-mover.Cargo centre has rail-air interchange (Cargo Sprinter to Hamburg and Osnabruck - now suspended).
	Gary (Gary/Chicago Airport) Possible extension of South Shore Railway.
	Lisboa (Lisboa) 2.8km APM to be built to metro/CP station
	Nagpur (Nagpur) Cargo interchange being developed.
	Nantes (Nantes) There were plans in the 1980s to reduce congestion at Paris CDG by moving North American flights to Nantes - the closest French city to North America - and linking the two airports by TGV.
	Newquay (Newquay Cornwall International St. Mawgan) Possible connection from Par - Newquay line - long shot.
	St. Denis (St-denis De La Reunion Gillot) Light rail system planned to connect airport to St. Paul.
	Taipei (Taipei Sungshan Airport) Elevated 11km mini-metro opened March 1996 to Chungshan Middle School, 15 minutes walk or bus ride away Extended 4/7/09 to and beyond the airport.
	Tokyo (Haneda Airport) Alweg monorail to main line service opened in 1964. Trains every 10 minutes. 18.11.98 - new service started to central Tokyo and to Narita.
